Pork with Noodles and Barbecue inspired Sauce

Hello everyone! Today I'll be sharing with you one of my most favorite recipes. I just love how every time I am making this everyone is commenting on my cooking skills, as if any is needed.
Ingredients:
Pork
Bell Peppers
Carrots
Mushrooms
Corn
Onions and Garlic
Noodles
Olive oil

For the sauce:
Ketchup
Soy sauce
Sugar

Cut the pork the bell peppers, carrots, onions, mushrooms in thin slices. Peel and slice the garlic
Firstly we cook the pork with the onion and the garlic until it is almost cooked
Meanwhile we prepare the sauce. Add equal amounts of soy sauce, sugar and ketchup and stir.
Add the vegetables in the saucepan and cook for 2 minutes. Then add the sauce and cook until reduced at half its original size.
Meanwhile boil some water and prepare your noodles
After this step you can mix everything together in the saucepan or serve them separately as I did.
Quick, easy and yummy right? You can add/remove as many vegetables as you like or even try chicken instead of pork. Everything I tried turned out great since the sauce is so sweet and yummy. Have fun experimenting!

Putting Women Down

It has always been a trend to minimise, slut shame or ridicule women for their choices. This is actually the result of a patriarchal society. Men believe that they have the right to put down girls, calling them names without any reason, just because society taught them that they can. This behavior is in many ways acceptable in such a way that young girls and women try to minimise the damage of the ridicule. One of the most common way to avoid the shame, is placing the shame on someone else or even laugh about it.
Entire generations of women have been raised with the thought that slut shamming other women is acceptable. It's actually not acceptable and most definitely doesn't give the right on men to continue their bulling.
Many times I wonder if some "mean girls" realise how hard they sound when they say "cover up, this is not an appropriate outfit". Why should someone cover up? Do we have something to hide or our oversexualised bodies can't be seen as they are without shedding a tear.
All these ideas came in my mind when I read the latest interview of Katy Perry and I was extremely angry that she can be so arrogant and disrespectful. She said  “I do see myself becoming this, whatever, inspiration out of default right now, ’cause it’s such a strange world. Like females in pop – everybody’s getting naked. I mean, I’ve been naked before but I don’t feel like I have to always get naked to be noticed.I’m not talking about anyone in particular. I’m talking about all of them. I mean, it’s like everybody’s so naked. It’s like put it away. We know you’ve got it. I got it too. I’ve taken it off for – I’ve taken it out here and there. And I’m not necessarily judging"
So I'm guessing that in some occasions, when Katy thinks it's appropriate to get naked women in pop industry should be naked but if she changes her mind and the timing it's not right any more then F them.
I think that Katy Perry should have known better.. She's a woman in pop industry that has been mocked many times for her choices, so why does she tries to slut shame all the other artists.
The most hurtful part is that if this world came from a man's mouth I could have said that he has no idea what he's talking about, but now this is too much.

Trip to Ikea Part 2

Hello everyone, this is the second part of our Ikea walk. As you may remember we went there to buy some new lights. It's so hard to decide what you need when you have so many choices. When we found this blackboard we couldn't resist  to write the name of our blog!
Here you can see Daphne siting in one of the most colorful couches we have ever seen. Must be a blast to have colorful items like pillows in your room to give it a little bit of joy! I don't know why but the light blue and the pink are the most beautiful colors in this photo :P
Gracie on the other side choose a green background. The black and white armchair isn't really impressive but you can't do much if you have a green room.
Baking in the kitchen is almost our favorite thing so it is quite obvious why Daphne looks so happy in front of the croissants.Maybe if they were real she would be even happier!
We had so much fun and we did some serious research for lights. The only sad thing is that Ella wasn't with us to enjoy the moments.
Do you enjoy shopping furniture?

Ella Having Trouble Socialising

Hello everyone! Today I want to talk about a problem that Ella has with other cats. Ella was a little stray cat when we found her, she didn't seem injured but she was definitely undernourished. But we welcomed her, we fed her and we tried our best to transform her into a fine lady.
She doesn't have any problem socialising with people, well that's almost truth cause she might have a little problem with children, but she can't socialise with other cats. Every now and then we try to meet her with Efi's cats, the results are rather disappointing.
Ella is really scared of the other cats and she doesn't get too close. Most of the time she stays "hidden" (she thinks she hides, in these photos you can see how well she can become invisible) Anyway there might me a chance to get along with sir Meowulis (the male cat you see in the photo above) but she has serious problems with the Efi's female cat!
We don't know what to do in this situation. Should we try more to get them closer or we should accept the idea that Ella won't have cat friends?

Walking with BubbleTea

Hello everyone, yesterday was a beautiful sunny day so we decided to go on a walk downtown. We went to the local bubble tea store and ordered our favourite flavoured drinks. Gracie had one that totally matches her hair. However, Daphne's drink didn't quite match hers but was close enough.
Our close friend and photographer Efi was with us that day. She took these photos. Later on we went shopping, unfortunately we found nothing cute to wear but lots of important stuff to develop our blog.
Lately, we are supper busy preparing a new layout for Bubble my Licorice.  Our goal is to create a new minimal look with a lot of character. We hope you will like it as much as we do.
Have a great weekend everybody, see you again on Monday!

Healthy Smothie Recipe

Hello everyone, today we'll be sharing a smoothie recipe with you! Since we decided to start eating healthier we tried out several different combinations of fruits. Everything tastes great but this was the best combination yet, so definitely gives this a try the next time you are craving for something sweet.
Ingredients (2 smoothies)
1 carrot
A bit of lemon juice
3 blueberries
1 slice of pineapple
1 mango
Juice of 3 oranges
2 spinach leaves

Cut the pineapple and carefully take of the skin.
Cut the rest of the fruit in small pieces. Squeeze the oranges and the lemon to make juice.
Add everything in the mixer with the juice. The more juice you will add the more watery your smoothie will be.
It's really fun when you start mixing everything and the color changes. In our previous versions the smoothie came out a yucky brown, so this one is definitely an improved version
And after this simple steps you are ready to enjoy your fresh smoothie. Simple right? If you have anymore interesting fruit combinations please let us know!

Is Blue The Warmest Color? A Movie I Won't See...

I always thought that blue is a cool color *laughs*
but when it comes to this movie I have nothing to laugh with.
Before I start mentioning all those things that repulsed me and had me decide that this movie belongs to the trash can I should mention that I haven't seen the movie and I'm not going to.
The main reason is that I'm extremely tired seeing movies that oversexualise teens.

Recently has been more "accepting" in cinematography to present young women as sexual object. Movies like Spring breakers don't hesitate to show us without any limitation female body parts at any occasion creating a creepy male view in the movies..
Blue is the warmest color does the same thing, creeping young girls and putting the camera so close to their faces that we can almost smell or taste them ew.
This technique is not only creepy but creates the illusion that the perverted mind of the male viewer has the right to be so close to a teen girl, a lawyer can inform you that they can't.
The second part that disgusts me even more is the male view lesbian sex scenes. I don't even know how a heterosexual male can direct a lesbian sex scene. The paradox of this action can be resumed in the 10 minutes of "untamed" lesbian sex that they all talk about.
So this movie does not only presents young women as sexual objects but also succeeds to objectify lesbian sex and lesbian women as it presents them from a male view.
It has been known that the hardcore sex scenes were shot with the help of prosthetic vaginas, cause that's really classy.I guess the main reason behind that is not to typify this movie as porn.
Lat but not least I would like to mention that the protagonists admitted that they were forced by the misogynist director Abdellatif Kechiche to shoot the famous sex scene for 8 hours and it was a real torture.
So no I wouldn't like to see a movie that heterosexual women were practically forced to have sex with each other and claimed that it was a horrible experience.I'd rather keep this sadistic image away from me and see some real movies, like the ones with the original characters.

Trip to Ikea part 1

Hello everyone :)
Today we went to Ikea cause we are trying to find some new lamps. We want them for our new youtube channel.
It's actually just an idea for the moment cause youtube videos need so much time filming and editing and we are not sure if we can commit full time.
Back to our Ikea trip. This store is so huge that you can get lost in there or forget the reason you went.
We spend hours looking for beds and sofas without any cause, creating our own story.
It was also fun to sit at every table and taste our imaginary food.
Gracie's stake was well done and it was hard for her to cut.
After the lunch it was time for dessert and we went to the nearest living room to have some plastic donuts.
They don't taste good but they look amazing.
We are not advising you to eat them!
Daphne was so stuffed from the food that she couldn't handle the dessert so she decided to relax in the living room.
Gracie was happy cause she had more donuts to eat!

So that was our imaginary story!
Stay tuned for part 2..

Animal Shoulder Bags

Hello everyone :)
Today I went to the mall and I saw a really cute store!
It had some shoulder bags for children and they were so amazing
that I wished I was 10 again.
This dinosaur was my favorite but the store had
a variety to choose from.
Elephants, bees and ladybags but this is not all,
when I went to another shop I saw this fox shoulder bag.
This bag isn't for kids but for women!
Last but not least I saw a band set in a kids store.
The guitar and the little piano
look adorable!
Hope you have an awesome week  :)

Schoolgirl Outfit featuring Ella

Hello everyone :)
Today I wore a special outfit almost like a costume.
It's super cute and girly although it's black and white,
cause this is my favourite combination.
I also wore stripped knee high socks
and I matched them with my
Guess pin up flapbag.
I this photoshoot my assistant Ella
was really helpful with the camera and the light.
Actually she just stood there
because she's a cat.
We even got some photos together.
This jealous cat always tried to steal my light.
Anyway this is my outfit for today, I hope you liked it
cause if not Ella will be super sad
cause she actually picked it.
I hope you have a great weekend.

Guest Post for Sole Provisions

Hello everyone, today we invited Sole Provisions to share with you some tips in recognising whether the products you bought are fake or jenuine. Sole Provisions is an american-based website dedicated in selling the most fashionable yet comfortable shoes there are.

Tell-Tale Signs That You've Been Sold Fake Designer Shoes

We all like to wear designer shoes, but these do tend to come with a steep price. That is why we might be tempted every now and then to take advantage of a good deal we might find, even if we might suspect that the shoes are not the real deal. Fake merchandise is a problem in a lot of industries. Whether we are talking about orthoheels, high heels, or sneakers, fake designer shoes are actually quite common. If you want to know whether a pair you just bought is real or not, here are a few tips to help out.
1. Check the inner tag
This is the first thing that can provide you with some clues regarding the authenticity of the shoes. It will be a lot more useful if you have an authentic pair from the same manufacturer in order to compare the tags, but common issues include listing the wrong production year or using the wrong font or format.

2. Look at the box
The box that the shoes came in can tell a lot about them. Fake shoes will come in a simple box without too many graphics and usually just wrapped in simple plastic. An original box will fit the size of the shoes precisely, will come with labels and a box tag.

3. Check them online
Regardless of the types of shoes you just bought, you can find plenty of information on them from an official source, most likely the website of the manufacturer. Look them up and compare them to the shoes you have. Just from pictures alone you should be able to tell if something is off.

When you are looking for genuine, top-quality footwear, visit Sole Provisions. You are sure to find something that you will like.

250grams flour
1tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
130 grams butter
2 eggs
200 grams dark chocolate

First put in the mixer the butter with the sugar for 2 minutes
In the meanwhile butter the heart shaped cake form

cut the dark chocolate with a knife in small pieces

Pour the mix in our form and we bake for 15 min in a preheat oven at 180
15 min later you can take the cake out of the oven and place the dark chocolate. Put the form back in the oven for 30 min
